Egg freezing (oocyte cryopreservation) is an option to preserve fertility for the future. Q. Can I receive treatment even if I am not a Chiyoda-ku resident?
A. Yes. Anyone can receive treatment regardless of where they live. In addition to Ochanomizu and Chiyoda-ku, many people who work or live in nearby areas such as Kanda, Akihabara, Awajicho, Ogawamachi, Hongo, Yushima, and Suidobashi, as well as people from farther away, visit us.
Q. If I freeze my eggs, will I definitely be able to become pregnant in the future?
A. Egg freezing is one option for preserving the possibility of a future pregnancy, but it does not guarantee pregnancy 100%. There is a possibility that eggs may be damaged when thawed, and fertilization and implantation afterward may not proceed smoothly. So that you can make the best choice suited to your own life plan after correctly understanding the advantages and disadvantages, our specialists provide careful support.

A. Because the number and quality of eggs change with age, it is considered desirable to freeze and preserve them while you are as young as possible. At our hospital the service is for people aged 18 or older and under 43, but the optimal timing differs from person to person. Since it is important to consider this together with a doctor according to your own physical condition and life plan, please first come in for a counseling session.
Q. How can I use frozen eggs to become pregnant?
A. To aim for pregnancy using frozen eggs, a treatment called intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), in which a thawed egg and the partner’s sperm are fertilized outside the body, is required. After that, a fertilized egg (embryo) that has developed well is returned into the uterus in a procedure called embryo transfer. Our hospital provides consistent support up to future in vitro fertilization, so please feel free to consult us.
