Our reproductive medicine team, including a board-certified reproductive medicine specialist (Japan Society for Reproductive Medicine), provides care from general infertility treatment (timing, ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination) to in vitro fertilization (IVF), ICSI, and advanced reproductive medicine. We have expanded our facilities to strengthen our care.

Q. Up to what age can I receive fertility treatment?
A. Whether treatment is possible is not determined by age alone. First we examine the condition of your ovaries and other factors in detail, and we will explain the medical possibilities and your treatment options sincerely and in an easy-to-understand way.
Q. Can I keep attending appointments while continuing to work?
A. Yes. Many patients balance treatment with their work. By making use of our web reservation system and our convenient location just a 2-minute walk from Ochanomizu Station, we support you so that the burden of attending appointments is as small as possible.
Q. What is the difference between insured treatment, self-paid treatment, and advanced medical care?
A. Fertility treatment is broadly divided into “insured treatment” covered by public medical insurance, “self-paid treatment” not covered by insurance, and “advanced medical care” designated by the government that can be combined with insured treatment. Which category applies differs depending on conditions such as the treatment content, your age, and the number of treatments. For specific costs, please see the “Cost guide” section, and for subsidy programs please also see the “Tokyo and Chiyoda City subsidies” section.
Q. Do you provide advanced medical care?
A. Yes. Our hospital is a facility that provides advanced medical care that can be combined with insured treatment. As options aiming to improve the pregnancy rate, we will propose eligible treatments at the time of consultation.
Q. Can I transfer from another clinic?
A. Of course you can. If you bring a referral letter or test results that show your treatment history so far, we can proceed with your care more smoothly.
Q. Is it all right if I just want an examination or consultation first?
A. Yes, of course. In addition to consultations about infertility, we also offer bridal checks to prepare for future pregnancy and condition checks before trying to conceive.
Q. Can I have my eggs frozen?
A. Yes, we can accommodate this. Please also consult us about medical egg freezing (unfertilized egg freezing) for those who wish to prepare for future pregnancy and childbirth.
Q. Can I be seen even if I do not live in Chiyoda City or nearby?
A. Yes, anyone can receive care regardless of the area where they live. In addition to Ochanomizu and Chiyoda City, many patients who work or live in nearby areas such as Kanda, Akihabara, Awajicho, Ogawamachi, Hongo, Yushima, and Suidobashi visit us, as well as many patients from farther away.
Q. Is there anything I need to bring for my first visit?
A. Please be sure to bring your health insurance card. If you keep a basal body temperature chart, bringing it along will make the consultation go more smoothly. If you have a treatment history at another hospital, bringing a referral letter or test results allows us to guide you more accurately. You can also download the medical questionnaire in advance.
Q. Could you tell me the cost guide?
A. Fertility treatment includes insured treatment, self-paid treatment, and advanced medical care. For in vitro fertilization, under insured treatment (30% copayment) the series of steps from egg retrieval to embryo transfer costs from about 100,000 yen, while under self-paid treatment the guide amount is about 370,000 to 390,000 yen. Q. How do I apply for Tokyo and Chiyoda City subsidies?
A. Our hospital is a medical institution designated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Tokyo and Chiyoda City may have subsidy programs covering fertility tests, advanced medical care, and the like; in many cases you apply by attaching a certificate issued by our hospital to a designated application form and submitting it to the counter of the local government where you live. Because eligibility conditions and required documents can change due to program revisions, please check the latest information with each local government, and feel free to consult our reception counter as well.
