Board-certified specialists and instructors provide diagnosis and treatment, including minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy) and inpatient care when needed.

Q. Can I be examined by a gynecology specialist?
A. Yes. Obstetrics and gynecology specialists and instructors certified by the Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology are in charge of examinations.
Q. Can I receive cervical/uterine cancer screening?
A. Yes, we handle both cervical cancer screening and uterine (endometrial) cancer screening. The Chiyoda-ku uterine cancer screening is also available.
Q. Is a reservation required?
A. We ask that you make a reservation via web booking or by phone (03-5280-1166). If you visit without a reservation, you may have to wait for a long time.
Q. Can I be seen even if I do not live in Chiyoda-ku?
A. Yes. Anyone can visit regardless of area. In addition to Ochanomizu and Chiyoda-ku, many people who work or live in nearby areas such as Kanda, Akihabara, Awajicho, Ogawamachi, Hongo, Yushima, and Suidobashi, as well as people from farther away, come to see us.
Q. I would like to visit the gynecology department. What kinds of symptoms can I consult about?
A. You can consult about all kinds of concerns specific to women, such as menstrual pain, irregular menstruation, menopausal symptoms, abnormal vaginal discharge, and lower abdominal pain. Please feel free to tell us even about minor matters where you might wonder, “Is it okay to see a doctor for this?” A specialist will listen carefully to your situation and propose examinations and treatments tailored to each individual’s condition.
Q. My cancer screening result was “further detailed examination required.” Can you perform the examination here?
A. Yes, we can. For those who require a detailed examination following cervical cancer screening, a specialist performs examinations such as colposcopy (vaginal magnifying examination). Through more detailed examination, we make an accurate diagnosis and carefully explain the future treatment plan. Please make a reservation for a weekday morning outpatient visit and bring your referral letter or results.
Q. I have symptoms that seem like menopause. What kinds of treatment can I receive?
A. For menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and low mood, we offer various options including hormone replacement therapy (HRT), Kampo (herbal) therapy, and placenta injections. Respecting the patient’s physical condition, life plan, and values, we think together about the optimal treatment method. We provide comprehensive support, including advice on lifestyle habits.
Q. Do you perform surgery for uterine fibroids or ovarian cysts?
A. Yes. At our hospital, we specialize in minimally invasive surgery such as laparoscopic surgery and hysteroscopic surgery, which places less burden on the body. Less post-operative pain and an earlier return to daily life can be expected. If you wish to have surgery, please first visit the gynecology outpatient clinic. A specialist will be consistently in charge from examination through post-operative care.
Q. Can you prescribe the pill (LEP) or Mirena?
A. Yes. As treatment for conditions such as dysmenorrhea and heavy menstrual bleeding, we prescribe LEP (low-dose estrogen-progestin combination drug) and Mirena (levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system). We carefully explain the characteristics, benefits, and precautions of each, and propose a method suited to the patient’s wishes and lifestyle.
